Few Christian worship-services today include as much reading of scripture as does the Christian Science Bible lesson. A typical Sunday worship service, which includes this lesson, plus a scriptural selection, features about 20 minutes of reading, directly from the Bible. Also interspersed, are alternating sections read from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. Replacing personal preaching, these readings comprise our sermon.
